Mindwave Ventures Information

Mindwave Ventures is a social purpose company that enables impact at scale in healthcare through digital technology and data, with digital Personal Health Record (PHR) and Patient Engagement Platform (PEP) solutions to the NHS, academics and charities. Our multidisciplinary team combines designers, developers and researchers who specialise in understanding people and creating beautiful, intuitive, and inclusive designs. Our team is focused on facilitating exciting conversations and creating awesome designs. We use an iterative process and user-centred design approach to rethink, reshape and redesign the use of technology in health care sectors. By engaging with users through discovery, design and development phases, ideas become fully formed digital products that work with people’s current behaviours, processes and IT systems. Through engaging with the end-users throughout all stages of a project, people are kept at the heart of our design and development process. Spun out of the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust) and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). We work closely with professionals and academics in the health and voluntary sectors to explore the use of digital technology and data in mental healthcare.
