Milton Keynes Arts Centre Information

We’re an arts charity that enables the curious and creative to make a positive impact in our communities. We specialise in co-developing projects involving local, national and international artists working with, and in response to briefs determined by, marginalised or disadvantaged communities across Milton Keynes. These projects are designed to address, through creativity, the local and global issues affecting people’s lives: from climate change to poverty, loneliness and social mobility; and through this to support social cohesion, wellbeing, environmental responsibility and skills development. Situated in the heart of the 18th Century Great Linford Manor Park; we present a programme of Artists’ Projects, Events and educational activities inspired by our unique location. In 1974 MKAC became an Arts Centre and registered charity, nurturing arts, culture and wellbeing in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Past fundraisers have supported MKAC to provide opportunities for our communities to benefit from arts and culture. These communities have included local schools; young people with special education and behavioural needs; homeless charities; and individuals with diverse physical and learning needs.
