Mighty Writer Ltd Information

Mighty Writer Ltd is a breakthrough in teaching children to write. The Mighty Writer learning resource transforms the way children’s writing is taught and learnt and enables young children to quickly become independent, confident, capable writers. Since launching in Summer 2016, we are already in almost 500 schools in 26 countries. It uses a unique method to allow children to freely create their story, while scaffolding enables them to effortlessly transcribe the tale with accurate grammar. It simplifies the complex process of learning to write and enthuses children of all abilities. It is aimed at teachers of children aged 4-7. The product has been developed and tested in schools and with individual children across the south of England. We have had incredible results with children of all abilities. When asked to rate Mighty Writer, teachers scores averaged 9.67/10 and typical feedback includes: “The children loved Mighty Writer” “It engaged even the reluctant writers” “Suddenly they began to write reams, even motivated to write at home too” “My children were constantly saying “Please can I have a go?” “The children clearly made significant progress and their writing was more sophisticated” “An excellent resource” Mighty Writer has been developed by husband and wife team Emma Ralph, BA Hons, QTS and David Ralph, MBA, MSc. Emma was until recently an Assistant Head Teacher at a primary school where she was charged with driving up school standards. David has a background of developing people and processes to make a real difference.
