Messkonzept specializes in the development, production and marketing of compact, precise and reasonably priced thermal conductivity (TC) detectors which are based on a micro-mechanical silicon chip. No additional gases or other consumables are needed. TC detectors are essential to determine concentrations of gases that are infrared-inactive. A stable and convenient measurement of other gases such as CO2 or CH4, for example, may often be realized, in addition. Typical applications are the measurement of hydrogen (H2) in turbo-generators and many chemical processes, or the measurement of argon (Ar) and oxygen (O2) in air separation plants.
