Merrick Architecture was founded in Vancouver BC in 1986, adding a Victoria studio in 1994. The dynamic practice offers full-service architectural and urban design services, one of the first firms in British Columbia to successfully operate studios in both cities. Established originally to advance the work of acclaimed architect Paul Merrick, the partnership has grown into a multi-disciplinary practice owned equally by Principals Gregory Borowski, Mitch Sakumoto, Shaun McIntyre, Louise Webb, and Darryl Jonas each are accomplished practitioners in their own right. At least one Principal contributes hands-on leadership on all projects, supported by our Senior / Managing Associates and Associates, each of whom assist in coordinating staff in both studios, under the umbrella of a single practice.
