Based in Fall River, Massachusetts, Merida Studio is an artist workshop and residency specializing in textile art. Founded on the principles of savoir-faire, the studio collaborates with contemporary artists to create unique site-specific works. Merida Studio strives to extend the chain of textile art and its rich history. In addition to its workshop and artist residency, Merida Studio maintains two dedicated galleries in New York and Boston. These galleries serve as spaces for exploration—presenting works that challenge the traditional boundaries between textile, sculpture, and functional art. Every exhibition reflects Merida Studio’s purpose: to honor the materials, celebrate human hands, and advance the generational art of textile into new forms.
