Mercuri is an early-stage venture capital fund and first-cheque investor leading pre-seed and seed funding rounds for UK media technology and AI companies. Founded in Kings Cross, London in 2017, we back outstanding founders building at the intersection of media, entertainment and AI — from generative AI, agentic AI and voice AI to creator economy platforms, gaming, XR, next-generation advertising and AI inference compute. We are currently investing out of our second fund (which is our fist multi-LP fund), Investment targets B2B startups set to enhance the way in which we communicate and engage in a professional and personal context. The fund aims to make six new investments a year. Our investments include Faculty AI, Hugging Face, Fluidstack, Signal AI, Resemble AI, Kickstarter, Mozart AI and over 60 companies across the full content and data life cycle. We take an engaged approach — often taking board seats and working actively alongside founders post-investment.
