MEDfOR is a two-year world-class Erasmus Mundus Master Course Programme focuses on the integrating theme of sustainability in Mediterranean forests and woodlands.It is the only programme in Europe or elsewhere that simultaneously addresses the economic, ecological and social challenges of sustainable Mediterranean forestry and natural resources management. It is offered by a Consortium of top ranked Universities supported by a consultation panel and sixteen associated partners that come from leading international research and outreach organizations in all scientific areas of interest to Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management. The MEDfOR Consortium includes seven globally top ranked universities with complementary expertise to address the Mediterranean forestry supply chain key challenges: University of Lisbon, Portugal - Coordenator University University of Padova, Italy University of Lleida, Spain University of Valladolid, Spain Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey University of Tuscia, Italy Catholic University of Portugal, Portugal The faculty coordinating each course in the MEDfOR programme consists of internationally recognized specialists in each scientific area of interest to Mediterranean forestry and natural resources management; all hold a PhD and a professorship in their institutions; all hold an impressive list of publications in top-ranked international journals.
