It all began on February 17, 1993, when after years of dreaming, planning, and hard, hard work, Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent’s goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.
We’ve got the great meal part down. In fact, we like to consider our food more than great. We think its Legendary. Hand-Cut Steaks, award-winning Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Fresh-Baked Bread, and Made-From-Scratch Sides are the standard at Texas Roadhouse.
