Founded in Barcelona in 1988, MCRIT (Multicriteria Group) began its trajectory as an urban and infrastructure planning advisory firm, contributing to the Metropolitan Plan of Barcelona in the wake of the 1992 Olympic Games. Over the following decades, MCRIT has grown into a full-service practice built around advanced analytics, modelling, and proprietary software — delivering innovative advisory services, training, and knowledge transfer that support clients through every stage of infrastructure investment, from planning and valuation through to execution and operation. Operating from offices in Barcelona, Bogotá, Madrid, Guayaquil, and São Paulo, MCRIT has served more than 1,000 clients across over 2,500 projects since 2000, with 50% of its work conducted internationally across more than 60 countries. Since 2010, MCRIT has contributed to the planning and delivery of public and private infrastructure investments totalling over €5,000 million.
