MaxWell Biomedical is pioneering CardioModulation™, a new approach to cardiac rhythm management using non-destructive electrical therapy that works with the heart’s physiology. Our Rhythm360™ platform is being developed to prevent and terminate atrial fibrillation, restore sinus rhythm, and preserve atrial function without creating additional atrial scar. At the center of our long-term vision is CRT-A, Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for the Atrium, designed to provide long-term rhythm management for patients with atrial fibrillation and heart failure. Unlike therapies focused solely on eliminating an arrhythmia, CRT-A is being developed to maintain sinus rhythm, restore AV and atrial synchrony, and preserve the atrium’s mechanical contribution to cardiac performance.
