Matthew Williamson Information

Matthew Williamson is an award-winning, British fashion and interior designer known predominantly for his unique design sensibility and use of pattern and colour. Having begun his illustrious fashion career in 1997 under his namesake brand with business partner Joseph Velosa, Matthew has drawn on his decades of experience and pivoted seamlessly into the world of interior design since 2018. Alongside his growing residential and commercial design portfolio including designing a suite at the Belmond La Residencia hotel, Matthew has also launched a series of homeware collections in collaboration with John Lewis, Pooky lighting, Osborne & Little, Ruggable and more. He recently designed the 2026 Brit award, following other illustrious designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Zaha Hadid and Tracey Emin and plans to open a new lifestyle store called Caserra 71 in Spring 2026.
