MAPS is an award-winning early-intervention project providing mentoring and advocacy for vulnerable children and young people in the London Borough of Sutton. Our trained volunteer mentors offer a safe space for young people facing challenges like low self-esteem, family issues, bereavement, or self-harm. Through weekly mentoring sessions over the course of a year, mentees gain confidence, develop new skills, and feel heard. Mentors come from all walks of life and are carefully matched with mentees based on shared interests. All mentors are DBS-checked, trained, and committed to helping young people unlock their potential. Mentees, aged 8-25, benefit from tailored support to build confidence, raise aspirations, and achieve their goals. Want to make a difference?
