In 2008 the Knauf Insulation Group CEO announced the establishment of Manson Insulation Ltd. as a newly formed business fully owned by the Knauf Insulation Group headquartered in Iphofen, Germany. The Knauf Insulation Group acquired the rights to the Manson name and existing distribution contracts from Manson Insulation Inc. through an arrangement with the retiring owners. In addition, the Knauf Insulation Group formed a new business, Manson Insulation Ltd., based In Montreal, to market and supply Manson branded insulation products in North America. We decided to maintain the Manson name as an independent brand in our portfolio.
