MANDAWORKS is a passionate group of professionals who are dedicated to the idea that cities thrive when they mix, share, integrate, cooperate, synergise, and overlap. Rooted in a combination of Dutch and Scandinavian urban traditions, Mandaworks enthusiastically engages with the full spectrum of the built environment and strives to deliver livable, humane solutions that surprise, ignite and delight. This commitment has taken the practice around the world, collaborating with public and private clients on projects ranging from strategic visions to urban furniture design. Rarely working alone, the multidisciplinary design team collaborates intensively and effectively and relies on big thinking, a commitment to action, and clear storytelling to deliver results. Originally founded in Sweden in 2010, Mandaworks now operates from three locations; Stockholm, Montreal and Shanghai. Mandaworks is owned and operated by partners Martin Arfalk and Patrick Verhoeven and managed in collaboration with Associate Partners Danny Bridson and Sunna Pfeiffer. The design team is composed of a skilled group of international designers whose education and experience span the fields of landscape architecture, urban planning, and architecture.
