Magic Box Productions Information

Magic Box Productions is the business name I choose years ago to represent my magic business. All of the shows, lectures, and advisory work I do are under that name. Now with the purchase of the Fitzkee trilogy we (my wife and I) are also in the business of selling the remaining stock of books, and currently working on an update to the Trick Brain. I have been performing magic professionally for almost fifteen years, and in that time have done most everything from kid shows to stage shows, restaurants to weddings, and everything in between. Now I find myself concentrating on legerdemain and close-up artistry. I've been on the "team" of magicians behind a number of "Creative Magic" items (such as the shadow tent and the change cap), and have done guest reviews for the M.U.M. I am also glad to say, that recently one of my ideas was performed by Criss Angel for his international television show "Mind Freak." I'm trying to make this place unlike most of the online - sell you something magic- sites. My interest in buying the Fitzkee books was in taking care of them and making them more accessible to a new generation of what I can only call slightly "lost" conjurers. Magicians full of technical aptitude and lacking a sense of how to entertain and amaze. I am of the obvious opinion that to fool someone is not enough… but it's a bit more complex than that and I'll talk more about it in the theory section of the site. The point is I believe that much of what Fitzkee was trying to say is very applicable today. So that's why this site is here, again welcome.
