We're a new generation of African storytellers, artists, organisers, creators and techies using culture, digital media, civic tech and activism to speak truth to power and imagine a greener, fairer and more participatory Africa. We don't just create content - we spark conversations, shift narratives and turn audiences into movements. From viral satire and bold campaigns to cutting-edge digital platforms, our work reaches more than 9 million young Africans and drives action across 30 countries. Our work has been recognised around the world - from being named one of The Elders' 100 Sparks of Hope to receiving awards from the UN and the EU. But the real recognition comes from the millions of young Africans who use our stories, platforms and campaigns to make their voices impossible to ignore. Magamba Network is headquartered at our Magamba Africa civic hub in Botswana from where we run all our Africa-wide programming on everything from digital democracy to climate justice. Magamba Network brings together a growing family that includes Magamba ZW, our Zimbabwe-based Private Voluntary Organization, Studio Moto ZW, our audiovisual social enterprise, and Magamba Media, our independent media house. Magamba isn't just an organisation. We’re a movement of creators and changemakers who believe the future belongs to those bold enough to imagine it - and brave enough to build it. We speak truth to power, laugh in the face of injustice and use creativity as our greatest act of resistance.
