Established in 1998 Emerging from an auto-bay at Richard's Accurate Imports, the Macintosh Mechanic, later known simply as MacMechanic, has become a Santa Barbara staple, quickly growing into their own location on Gutierrez St. Before the glitz and glamour of the Apple retail channel, Apple relied on Apple Specialists and Apple Authorized Service Providers to fulfill the needs of Mac users. MacMechanic has answered this call for over twelve years, continuing to grow even with an Apple retail store in Santa Barbara. Performing thousands upon thousands of repairs yearly, MacMechanic keeps Santa Barbara's Macs happy and running smoothly. Continually being awarded the AppleCare Service Excellence recognition and being voted "best of..." by readers of the Santa Barbara Independent year after year, MacMechanic strives to find the best solutions for their customers for many years to come.
