Lusco Foundation — where darkness becomes light. One in four Australian women will experience violence from a partner in their lifetime. Behind that statistic is a moment - a lusco - where darkness might, with the right support, begin its transformation into light. The exact threshold - the point where night gives way to day is where we work. We're an Australian not-for-profit operating across two streams: supporting women experiencing domestic violence right now through an AI-enabled platform that connects them to the right help, fast, and preventing violence before it begins through a quality-assured program for boys and young men in NSW schools. Lusco was founded out of lived experience of domestic violence - a recognition that the right support, at the right moment, can change the course of a life. That understanding shapes everything we build, from how the platform is designed to how we measure whether we're truly reaching the people who need us. Charity registration with the ACNC has been lodged and is currently being processed, including an application for DGR (tax-deductible status). Please reach out if you'd like to get involved. All help and support is much appreciated.
