Lorac Company was started in August 1986 in Wichita, KS when Robert & Carol Herring found the need for window well covers on their home. Robert designed the first Lorac Cover, and through Carols foresight, the Lorac Company was founded. In 1995 a custom metal fabrication shop, powder coating line, & blasting facility was added. It has reached out as a service for many individual and manufactures. Since the early days the business has been owned and operated by the Herring Family.
