Long Beach Post Information

The work we do at the Long Beach Post and Long Beach Business Journal has always been a public service. In late 2023, after decades of for-profit ownership, the two publications reorganized in line with this central mission. The publications are now charitable entities under the auspices of the Long Beach Journalism Initiative. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our EIN is 93-4121848. The purpose of this new nonprofit is educational: We exist to spur debate, discussion, and better decision-making. We create a space where residents can connect with the world around them, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
