The Norwegian Children and Youth Council (LNU) is an umbrella organisation for more than 90 Norwegian non-governmental organisations for children and youth. Among our members are organisations working in a wide range of areas: from education and politics trough culture and music to scouting and religious work. The Norwegian Children and Youth council represents the youth organisations views towards authorities and other important institutions. A centre of competence on questions regarding children and youth. The Norwegian Children and Youth Council utilises this competence on two levels. Firstly by providing politicians the knowledge they need to produce a comprehensive policy for children and youth. Secondly by providing service for our member organisations.
