The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim represents academic eminence in technology and the natural sciences as well as in other academic disciplines ranging from the social sciences, the arts, medicine, architecture to fine art.

The University of Oslo (UiO) is internationally ranked as Norway´s leading university, having made and continues to make significant contributions to Norwegian research, innovation and education. UiO is a leading European university and the oldest university in Norway. The university has over 27 000 students and 7000 employees. The University of Bergen is a young, modern university. Most of its premises are concentrated in the heart of the city of Bergen.
