Lightning produces premium high-performance electric motorcycles. Our mission is to build world-class, two-wheel electric transportation that provides the efficiency, performance and affordability required to enable mainstream adoption of electric motorcycles globally. Lightning started with the aim to develop an electric motorcycle that could compete with the best gas-powered bikes in the world. Through innovation and racing competition, we achieved that objective, winning the first North American Electric motorcycle road racing championship, winning the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and setting the world land speed record for a motorcycle. We have incorporated our race-proven technology into our first two products, the LS-218 and the Carbon Strike, and we continue to push the bounds of innovation in electric vehicle technology.
