L'Agence de l’innovation dans les transports a été créée en novembre 2021 et réunit les équipes en charge de l’innovation des directions générales des infrastructures, des transports et des mobilités (DGITM), de l’aviation civile (DGAC) et des affaires maritimes, de la pêche et de l’aquaculture (DGAMPA). Elle accompagne l'écosystème des mobilités à relever par l'innovation les grands défis de la transformation de nos systèmes de mobilité : celui de la transition écologique, celui de la cohésion des territoires et ceux de la résilience et de la transformation numérique des systèmes de transport.
