LEIGH HACKSPACE CIC Information

Leigh Hackspace is a maker community and makerspace for all creatives in the North West. Our Hackspace is a membership-funded workspace where people with common interests can meet, socialize and collaborate. We offer a welcoming and inclusive environment in which you can work on your individual project, can share your knowledge, develop your existing skills or even learn new ones. Our current space is 4,500 sq ft in a converted cotton mill and has lots of useful equipment for members to use including: a fully-fitted darkroom, a woodworking area with powertools such as pillar drills, bandsaws, and a lathe, a textiles area with sewing machines and an overlocker, a well-equipped electronics bench with soldering and test equipment including oscilloscopes, we currently have several 3D printers, Raspberry Pis and laptops for members use. There is far too much equipment to list here. As a community space we are also available for use as a venue for courses, talks and presentations that you may want to put on. The space has to be seen to be believed, so why not visit us and experience it for yourself?
