Ledger Insights publishes global news and features about business and enterprise blockchain. Because of the focus on enterprise, many of the cases we explore use distributed ledger technologies (DLT) or permissioned blockchains. We take the liberty of using the terms blockchain and DLT interchangeably. You've likely noticed the never-ending stream of blockchain Proofs of Concept. In 2018 and 2019 we've seen small numbers of projects go into production. 2020 promises significant activity and Ledger Insights plans to be the first to bring you the news and details. Numerous sites cover cryptocurrency trading and investment. This is not Ledger Insight's focus. However, where the business aspect of an organization with a cryptocurrency is of interest, and the company is credible, we will write about it. Though our emphasis is not on trading or investment, cryptocurrencies and tokens in particular are one of the critical blockchain innovations. Given tokens and blockchain promise the reinvention of market infrastructures across numerous sectors, this is an area we cover, but from a functional rather than an investor perspective.
