Here at Lean Practice (a certified B Corporation), we get to work with makers/creators/builders and doers to increase their productivity so they can do more good for people and planet. We think productivity gets a bad rep. Lots of people see it as organisations wanting more from their workers without paying them for it; others see it as some management metric that can easily be tweaked based on the flavour of the day. We see it differently. We see productivity as a way of doing more good in the world. If we can do more without the associated effort, with effort, we can move mountains! When we look at today's complex problems, the world needs a rallying cry to get more productive and solve these real issues. We believe organisations have the capability and capacity to do this. However, if they're not productive, their margins will be squeezed. If their margins are getting squeezed, they are less likely to step up and solve the worlds problems. It's our mission to help these companies improve their profit by becoming more productive so they can go out and do even more good. Its become our crusade, the meta-skills of being productive have a ripple effect for our families, communities and even countries. Life itself becomes better. We believe its a cause worth getting behind and our company is devoted to it.
