The Lawrence Foundation is a private family foundation focused on making grants to support environmental, human services and other causes. The Lawrence Foundation was established in mid-2000. We make both program and operating grants and do not have any geographical restrictions on our grants. Nonprofit organizations that qualify for public charity status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or other similar organizations are eligible for grants from The Lawrence Foundation. We are receiving reports of phishing scam emails and text messages that claim to be from The Lawrence Foundation. Please ignore these emails and text messages. These scammers use publicly available information and purport to be from various people associated with the foundation. We do not ever make grants to individuals and only make grants to non-profit organizations that we know or have an established relationship with. We will never ask for personal information, banking information or passwords. Please be careful with your information.
