At Lapland Studio we use bleeding-edge technology to create stunning graphics, amazing experiences, and awesome games. When the company was founded in 2005, we had two goals: to aim high, and hit everything out of the ballpark. For the first few years we concentrated on building our experience in 3D graphics, animation, motion capture, vfx and game design. We made many commercials and were involved in the creation of two of the biggest music videos ever made in Finland: Lordi's Eurovision-winning Hard Rock Hallelujah, and Nightwish's Islander. We also made animation sequences, user experience design implementations and art assets for customers such as Sulake Labs, Housemarque, Nitro Games, Symbio and ARM. In 2009 we decided to sart focusing on what we love most: Games. Our fist project â€" Lead The Meerkats â€" was launched just one year later for Nintendo Wii in May 2010. Almost immediately after that, we released our first iOS title: Lordi - The Game. Since then we've been concentrating on iOS game development, joining forces in 2011 with Wesley Snipes to create the unforgettable character of economic hitman Julius Styles. What does the future hold? We're still aiming high, and we're still hitting them out the park.
