Atcom Services, Inc. was founded in 1991 as a structured cabling design, installation, and consulting firm. We specialized in providing these services to an array of "Fortune 500" organizations. In 1994, we became a corporate member of BICSI, and soon after had an in house certified RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer). Over the years, our work and articles have been printed in many technical publications. Our people have tutored technical classes in various aspects of structured cabling and networking. In 1995, through our extensive contact base in the industry, we made a natural progression into distribution and manufacturing. In 1996 we took the distribution further by becoming the first (to our knowledge) company in the structured cabling and connectivity industry to offer full E-commerce capability. In 1999, in an effort to make our website name and URL, more closely match our online store, we acquired the name "LANshack.com". "LANshack.com is a division of Atcom Services, Inc. The URL's "www.LANshack.com" and "www.atcomservices.com" are synonymous. We are dedicated to continued leadership in the field of e-commerce sales of cabling and connectivity components by constantly striving to improve our website, and our product offerings.
