LanguagePocket is an exciting startup that has developed a new language learning app. The app brings students and language coaches together, in a similar way to WhatsApp. On top of that, a course program focuses on the way the brain learns intuitively. The student doesn’t learn individual sentences, instead he is involved in a story that is told using videos and audios. He accompanies people as they successfully go about their everyday lives. He can then directly apply what he has learned with his own native-speaking coach. The bond to a personal language coach is the most important thing at LanguagePocket, because language is communication and communication includes people. With LanguagePocket, students can use their new language from the very first moment in real conversations with their language coach. Both write, talk, exchange exercises, videos and audios. The language coach chats to his student daily and gives him a sense of achievement in short lessons. This keeps him motivated to continue learning - the biggest problem in language learning. The student makes greater progress by training his new language every day for ten minutes than he would if he trained just once a week for two hours. Short but daily lessons combined with modern technology allow even busy people to successfully learn a new language. LanguagePocket currently offers a Spanish course for German speakers.
