Language Pathways Information

Dana E. Gooden-Schroeder and Sheila F. Hansen are co-founders of Language Pathways, Inc. Their love of language and over 20 years of experience working with children inspired them to create tools that provide visual frameworks to enhance language learning. Dana and Sheila are licensed speech-language pathologists who developed collaborative intervention models that focus on curriculum-based language intervention and organizational strategies for classroom success. While supporting students through this therapy model, the visual organizers were developed and have proven to be beneficial tools for use with typically developing students as well as students with identified language learning needs. Dana and Sheila both practice privately in the St. Louis area. About Speech Language Learning Systems, Inc. Speech-language diagnostic and therapeutic services are offered for pre-K through high school. Areas of specialty include content-based speech-language intervention for students experiencing reading, writing, expressive, and organizational difficulties due to speech-language processing concerns, early childhood speech-language delays, motor speech impairments, and autism spectrum disorders. Individual and group programming is available year round including a cognitive behavioral approach for addressing students social communication needs related to non-verbal learning disorder, Asperger syndrome and high functioning autism. Summer enrichment services are also offered through our SLLS Meridian Academy which targets instruction to enhance Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, and Social Communication Success!
