Lang Racing Development is a BMW and Porsche specialist in Lake Forest, Orange County, built on more than a decade of endurance racing. We build, develop and race our own prototypes, including the Norma M20FC that set a 1:17.0 lap record at Willow Springs, and we bring that same standard to every street car that comes through our doors. Racing taught us exactly where engines and chassis fail, and how to build them so they don't. What we do: BMW, Porsche and MINI service, maintenance and diagnostics Engine rebuilds and blown-engine recovery, from S54 and S65 rod bearings to 800+ hp S58 builds Race engine development and in-house Mustang dyno tuning Suspension setup, corner balancing and street and track alignment Chassis reinforcement, composite fabrication and aerodynamics Prototype and race car preparation, track support and driver fitting How we work: our technicians are salaried, not paid flat rate, so no one is rewarded for rushing your car. You are welcome to watch the work being done, and our engine builds are measured and documented rather than assumed. Outside California with a blown BMW engine? Call us at (949) 667-4397 to talk about shipping your car to our shop, or visit langracing.com.
