Having finished his degree in fine arts, principle contractor Matthew Ballard then went on to serve his full painting and decorating apprenticeship with the London Guild of Master Craftsmen. He then moved on to work in the painting and construction industry for ten years before establishing Labrador Painting. This combination of backgrounds gives Matthew a unique perspective, having not only a sophisticated and informed approach to interior design and colour consultancy, but also a high standard of construction industry knowledge, this allows him a holistic overview of any project. Matthew has built around him expert teams of tradesmen, which he continues to keep improving by investing in education. Including work safety courses, height access courses, IPAF ticketing, and additional trade skills, such as texture coating and spray painting. Together Matthew and his team are moving towards providing an unparalleled standard of quality, knowledge and excellence in the painting industry.
