As a Vietnamese community television network, KVLA, Channel 56.5 offers premier programs dedicated to preserve the values, culture, and heritage of the Vietnamese and Asian American people. Our mission is to bridge the generation and cultural gaps of the Vietnamese American population by bringing the most diverse, informative and entertaining shows that are of high quality, and delivering news that are up-to-date and relevant to all viewers. Being a 24-hour Vietnamese network programmed specifically to address the demand of Vietnamese Americans and Asian Americans residing in North America, KVLA TV attracts viewers from all generation, young and old, and from all Vietnamese and Asian American backgrounds. • We currently have a staff of dedicated professionals with a rich variety of ideas, backgrounds and perspectives. • We constantly develop personal relationships with our target communities in an effort to promote ourselves, and at the same time turn them into a consistent and growing audience. • We consistently collaborate with other like organizations to broaden reach and capacity. • In the near future, our goal is to target a larger market, one which consists of all Asian ethnic audiences, to build long term sustainability as we work to increase profile and regular coverage in ethnically specific media.
