Ace Hotel Ace Hotel is a collection of individuals — multiple and inclusive — seeking to embrace the cities we live in by building spaces for collective gathering. Whether thoughtfully reinterpreting historic buildings or imagining radical new structures, our aim is always to make something energized, human and soulful. Our hotels are inspired by an affinity for the soulful and fueled by our love for the hyperlocal. A study in contrasts, Ace Hotel marries the pragmatic with the romantic, the private with the collective, the old world with the future. We are guided by empathy and compassion, and believe that the best things in life take conviction, guts and community. The way we do anything is the way we do everything. We have hotels in Seattle, New York, Palm Springs, Brooklyn, Toronto, Sydney, Kyoto, and Athens. Ace Hotel Fukuoka is slated to open in 2027. Atelier Ace Atelier Ace is Ace Hotel’s in-house creative, marketing, events, interior, architecture and graphic design team. We’re a curious hybrid — romantics with an unswerving business savvy, easy-going yet driven, casual but elegant. We architect event spaces, rooms, nightly magic, branded campaigns, curios and keepsakes and see the hotel as a potential for real, fluid community. With everything we do, we try to collaborate with and celebrate people whose work inspires us. We like the stories that come with things and think that wherever you are, you should feel like you’re there.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago offers exhibitions of the most thought-provoking art created since 1945. The MCA documents contemporary visual culture through painting, sculpture, photography, video and film, and performance. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the MCA boasts a gift store, bookstore, restaurant, 300-seat theater, and a terraced sculpture garden with a great view of Lake Michigan.

The Shed is a new cultural institution of and for the 21st century. We produce and welcome innovative art and ideas, across all forms of creativity, to build a shared understanding of our rapidly changing world and a more equitable society. In our highly adaptable building on Manhattan’s west side, The Shed brings together established and emerging artists to create new work in fields ranging from pop to classical music, painting to digital media, theater to literature, and sculpture to dance. We seek opportunities to collaborate with cultural peers and community organizations, work with like-minded partners, and provide unique spaces for private events. The Shed was designed to break with the traditions that separate art forms and audiences. By minimizing social and economic barriers to entry, we offer a warm, welcoming space for innovation and dialogue. Embracing technology, we work with creative thinkers and partners to create transformational digital experiences on-site and online. Using our flexible infrastructure and operational capabilities, we can produce performances, exhibitions, events, and gatherings of almost any type in expansive, multiuse venues that allow for social distancing. Driven by our belief that access to new art and ideas is a right, not a privilege, we present engaging experiences and forge deep bonds between our artists and audiences. As an independent nonprofit that values invention, equity, and generosity, we are committed to advancing art forms, addressing the urgent issues of our time, and making our work impactful, sustainable, and relevant to the local community, the cultural sector, New York City, and beyond.
