Kruu is the 2025 PiE Award winner for Progressive Education Delivery. Our vision is to connect global creative minds with high school children to tap into their creative intelligence via project based learning The need The world is in dire need of more creative thinkers than ever before. But are we enabling our children in this direction? While schools take care of structured education within a class, it doesn’t allow room for creative thinking. Nor does it allow one to fall in love with the art of learning. Ultimately the graduating class has merely mastered theoretical subjects with zero exposure to real world skills or practical application. Our purpose Kruu’s purpose is to fill this gap by connecting global creative minds with high school children to learn real world skills. Imagine a child working on mini projects to pick up skills such as pattern analysis, gaining mastery and collaborating with other children from Kruu community on larger projects that could potentially solve global problems. So let’s enable the next generation to be creative thinkers. Because after all, “The creative adult is the child who survived.” — Ursula Leguin How does it work A child’s journey with Kruu begins from self-exploration of interest areas, to developing mastery in their domain of choice, to collaborating with users around the world on LIVE projects. The founder “Kalaimamani” Anil Srinivasan is one of India’s most renowned musicians. With an M Phil from Columbia University and a strong background in cognitive neuroscience, Anil has been spearheading a revolution in Creative Intelligence through Rhapsody, founded by him in 2013.
