Kronbar Information

Kronbar is a student run pub at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), campus Kronstad, and is a place where all the students can meet up. The main resolution is to facilitate a good environment for the students and make sure that Kronbar is a central social and cultural gathering point. Kronbar arranges a variety of events, like quizzes, concerts and jams. Kronbar is run by 100% volunteer work, and has several groups of volunteers with different responsibilities. The bar staff is responsible for tidying, cleaning and guarding the bar, as well as serving the customers from the bar. The technical crew is responsible for controlling the sound and lights at concerts, stand-ups or other events that involves a show on the stage. The marketing group is responsible for all promo of Kronbar and the events arranged at Kronbar. The events group is responsible for planning and execution of events. This is everything from putting up decorations to hosting the artists performing. The bar managers is bar staff with overall responsibility. They are to make sure rules and regulations are met when they are on duty. The board is responsible for the day-to-day management of Kronbar.
