Kompozition Information

Kompozition turns operational intent, behaviours and constraints into connected models that inform needs, acquisition, engineering and delivery decisions. We call this discipline Definition Operations, or DefOps. The decisions that shape a capability are made early, before engineering starts and often before a project is funded. At that stage operators, capability managers, acquisition teams and industry each work from their own documents and assumptions. Gaps tend to surface late, as rework, delay and contested decisions. DefOps gives that early work a method. We model the mission, the people and doctrine, the assets and sites, and the constraints, and keep every requirement traceable to the intent it came from. When something changes, decision-makers can see what it affects before they commit. The Kompozition platform is where these models are built, connected and kept current. It is aligned with Defence reference models and integrates with model-based systems engineering tools, so the definition carries through into design, acquisition and delivery. Our DefOps practice helps teams apply the method to their own capability problems. We work with Defence, Defence industry and government organisations.
