Knowledge to Work is a competency-based educational program with accelerated, personalized, digital learning plans designed just for you. Instead of taking courses just to prove what you already know, the LFCC “Knowledge to Work” (K2W) program provides personalized learning plans with a portfolio and documents competencies already acquired. Faculty help students use digital learning objects and open educational resources to learn new competencies and earn a credential in seven programs in high-demand job areas, including IT, health information management, and advanced manufacturing. K2W also works to promote apprenticeships in these industries.
