Founded in 1993 and based in Richmond, California, Mountain Hardwear exists to encourage and equip people to seek a wilder path in life. We make leading durable performance equipment for climbers, mountaineers, and outdoor athletes and have supported expeditions on the world’s highest peaks. Relentless precision inspires everything we do — our designers work closely with our Mountain Hardwear Athlete Team to inform how we develop mountain products. We sweat every stitch and detail to continuously improve function, durability, and comfort. Mountain Hardwear employees are passionate about spending time in wild places. We are passionate about using our wild wisdom to create the best products to help more people grow and evolve outdoors.
