USA Boxing is the national governing body of amateur, Olympic-style boxing, and is the United States' member organization of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA). As a national governing body recognized by the United States Olympic Committee, USA Boxing is responsible for the administration, development and promotion of Olympic-style boxing in the United States. USA Boxing is a non-profit organization and is managed by a Chief Executive Officer who reports to a Board of Directors. With its headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., USA Boxing sponsors a host of programs -- from developing and promoting the sport and its athletes at the local, regional, and national levels, to sponsoring national and international dual competitions and selecting teams for international events, including the Olympic Games, World Championships, and Pan American Games. USA Boxing, has governed men's amateur boxing in the United States since 1888. USA Boxing has won 109 Medals in Olympic competition, ranking first among all nations that compete in the Summer Olympic Games. Some of the most famous athletes in the world have emerged from the ranks of USA Boxing and Olympic competition, including Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Oscar de la Hoya. USA Boxing authorizes, recognizes, and insures 57 Local Boxing Committees (LBCs), which are grouped into 14 geographical regions. These LBCs, along with their coaches, athletes, and officials, form the grassroots foundation of USA Boxing and Olympic-style boxing in the United States. USA Boxing's athlete membership is comprised of both male and female boxers. USA Boxing operates on a calendar year basis for operational and financial reporting purposes. USA Boxing files and posts its annual Form 990 required by the Internal Revenue Service. USA Boxing also files an annual Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service.

For nearly two decades, Fight for Peace has supported young people from our east London Academy by combining the power of combat sports with mentoring, youth leadership programs, employability assistance, and education. Today, that mission has gone global. Through our local Collective, national Alliance network and partnerships with over 120 organisations worldwide, we have now trained 120 organisations in our methodology and produced resources to support young people and organisations around the country and internationally.
