Kites & Ladders Information

Children with autism often struggle with communication and do not display emotional affect like neurotypical people do. Parents and caregivers have difficulty with even basic communication, and autistic children may note be extrinsically motivated to share their feelings and perspective of the world. Kites & Ladders designs resources to allow families with autistic children to negotiate this communication gap with a shared visual communication system. Our goal is to offer emotive tools for children on the autism spectrum that support communication and independence.
