Kindness Collective Foundation Information

Community of the Year - New Zealander of the Year 2023! The Kindness Collective is a nationwide charity that spreads kindness by connecting children and families with the things they need (from everyday essentials to moments of joy). Matching those in need, with those who have more to share, KC works with over 145 organisations around the country to support Kiwi families in hardship. Alongside our major projects like the Christmas Joy Store and the PJ Project, we receive daily referrals from our community organisations to meet needs for families as they arise. Our Community Hub has a food bank, essentials hub which holds toiletries, clothing, blankets and everything needed to support families as needs arise. Because we are community-led our work is varied. One day we’re packing pyjamas, packing food parcels and the next, planting potatoes with our build projects. Our unique approach means we go where the need is and help where it matters most.
