Kickstart Norfolk Information

Kickstart Norfolk is both the largest and only sustainable wheels to work programme in the country. Kickstart started as a non-profit organisation in 1996 and in 2003 became a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. In 2014 we had just under 700 applications and were able to assist approximately 400 applicants on to bikes. Our charitable objectives are: •The relief of poverty of those persons who are unemployed or in low paid work, and •The relief of unemployment for the public benefit of persons who are unemployed and who are restricted by transport limitations by facilitating access to and the use of work opportunities and training which is likely to lead to work opportunities principally by the provision of mopeds on such terms as the Council may decide.
