Kapstaad is a conglomerate of companies with a wide diversification of businesses. The word “Kapstaad” means Cape Town; our founder, Indi Siriniwasa, was re-located to South Africa from Australia, which transformed his life, becoming a lover of all things African. Our founder is a technology enthusiast, entrepreneur, athlete, team builder, and a motivator. He’s worked at multiple tech companies including IBM, NTT, SingTel Optus, F-Secure, and Trend Micro and lived and worked in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa and gained expertise in transformation, team building, sales, and technology startups. Speaking of transformation, once a 24/7 executive; he found his “center” and transformed his life to include a balanced approach, through cycling. Through this sport and newfound friendships, he originally founded EdgeUp Life. Next came Flankr, based on a rugby teamwork term. Finding your center can be very transformative! Kapstaad’s sole purpose isn’t about profit; it’s founded on the premise that if we work hard and are rewarded, we should pay it forward. To do so, we commit that we won’t work with organisations that engage in human trafficking or the unethical treatment of animals. To “put our money where our mouth is”, we donate 10% of all profits towards organisations that support our interests of humanity. Because if we all care enough and give back, we can make a difference. And Kapstaad’s goal is to make a positive difference!
