Based in Sarasota Florida, Kangas Cloud was founded by Jon and David Kangas in 1985 as the premier communications and telecom provider in Southwest Florida providing Telecom products after the breakup of the Telecom industry in 1984. Kangas has been an exclusive partner with NEC for on-Premise Telecom equipment for the past 30 years. As the industry evolved, new products and services have been added to cover all aspects of Networking, IT infrastructure, 24 hour support and service of PC, applications, Cloud Services and professional services. In 2003 Kangas was purchased by long term technical manager Craig Flynt. Craig continued to expand the service offerings adding Star2Star Communications Unified Communications products and becoming the 3rd ranked channel partner nationally. Under Craig's Tenure Kangas continued to grow adding national customers and building the client base to nearly 4,000 business locations by the end of 2014. Craig passed away at the end of 2014 and will be missed by the thousands of customers that have come to know him over the years for his passion to bring Kangas customers world class technologies and service. 30 years since the modest beginning Kangas continues to evolve. A new management team led by veteran software and Information technology entrepreneur Raj Doraisamy as President, a thirty year veteran in providing professional services and implementation and Chief Solutions Officer David Lenosky. The products and services have also evolved at Kangas to be centered around Cloud Services, IT and Telecom Infrastructure and Professional Services. We have not forgotten our telecom roots or our commitment to keep our customers up and running day or night. We have all of those great qualities that the Kangas brothers and Craig brought to over 4,000 customers over three decades with the full breadth and depth of Cloud Communications, Cloud Computing, Virtual Desktops and every aspect of IT management and support. Kangas has expanded its footprint to become a national company with a network of over 3,000 certified installers and support personnel throughout the United States and Canada. On our 30th anniversary we decided it was time to rebrand Kangas and Associates as Kangas Cloud.
