KACT operates at a daytime power of 1,000 watts, and reduces power to 247 watts at night. KACT AM is a news talk station, 24 hours a day, with CBS Radio News at the top of every hour. Award winning CBS Radio News is heard at the top of each hour, around the clock. KACT AM & FM are the only two radio stations in Andrews County. KACT does live coverage of the Andrews Mustangs and Lady Mustangs games. All Mustang Football games are broadcast, with Bryan Hoffman and Russell Tippin, doing the play by play. Lady Mustangs District Volleyball Games are broadcast, on KACT AM, with Hunter Emfinger, doing the play by play. Mustangs and Lady Mustangs District Basketball Games are aired on KACT FM with Hunter Emfinger and Kevin Bushart, doing the broadcast.
