In the days when Korea imported 100% of the raw materials required for medicines from abroad, we built Korea’s largest plants for chemical synthesis and fermentation, making it possible to produce pharmaceutical ingredients locally using our own technology. From there, we had driven Korean Pharmaceutical Industry with this breakthrough on the path toward modernization. Furthermore, we became the first Korean pharmaceutical company to export products to the US market through the obtainment of the U.S. FDA approval.
